Avalon deserves leadership that is forward-thinking while taking careful measure to value the history and culture of our community’s past. I am running for Avalon City Council to ensure we’re making good choices for all our citizens.
I attended Avalon Schools from kindergarten through graduation before continuing my education at California State University, Long Beach.
My passion for education, the environment, and small town traditions coupled with my work and leadership experience for both small and multi-billion dollar businesses has given me a unique eye for finding a balance between the needs & wants of the community and the value of the business entities that work in and with our city.
I have previously served as a City of Avalon Planning Commissioner and currently serve as a board member for the Catalina Chamber of Commerce & Avalon Beautiful. I believe there are solutions to concerns we face today including affordable housing, noise, pollution & waste management, infrastructure repair & planning, and more. I'm eager to help make decisions to do the next right thing for Avalon - for this generation and generations to come.
